La Vidawas granted a Charter from the State of California to establish a site
based Independent Study Charter School using Waldorf methods. Our School
currently in its sixth year and this year is being sponsored
by the Willits Unified School district. We are located half way between
Ukiah and the town of Willits at the Ridgewood Ranch.

Our childrennow meet for class at the RANCH two days a week, and we now have grown
to include multi-age classes with grades K-12. This school
is a public Charter School and does not charge tuition.
Our Development committee is comprised of a broad base
of community members who are deeply committed to home schooling,and we
give thanks to all who gave there time and energy to develop this school
thru the begining stages to make this a reality for all the children that
will benefit from this program. |
