La Vida Charter School is an Independent Charter School under the oversight of Willits Unified School District to be renewed by June 30, 2014. The school is a California not-for-profit 501c3 corporation. It is governed by a five member Board who meet monthly (except July) on the first Wednesday 6:00. Agendas for the monthly meeting are posted within 72 hours on the bulletin board near the school’s entrance.
Parent involvement is vital to the school’s health and success. Besides sitting on the Board there are six committees in which Parents can get involved, have fun and make a difference. Sign up in the office. Descriptions of the committees' duties are in the Parent / Student Handbook.
